Tricia + codie | Kurtz orchards, niagara-on-the-lake, Ontario

Tricia and Codie have the privilege of being our only 2020 wedding that went forward as planned. Sure, there were a few people cut from the guest list to get it under 100 as mandated for outdoor weddings, but they pretty much cut themselves, not being able to travel from abroad. Good lord—this was a weird year. Regardless, we were extremely grateful for it.

And what a wedding it was! It felt like every minute was packed with love and personal touches to celebrate their relationship, their families and their loved ones. This truly was an event about more than just the two people in the centre of it—in fact, I’m pretty sure the flower girl stole the show at every opportunity. It was one of the most exhausting days ever, at one of our favourite venues (the one with the best food, of course) with a gorgeous couple down for anything and everything we suggested, which made for an amazing film (in our humble opinion).
