Erin + rob | Backyard wedding in ennis

We were so happy to FINALLY watch Erin and Rob get married this summer, and celebrate their union in a forest strung with fairy lights and dance the night away. Seriously. I posted a picture from their vow reading and got so many questions about the venue, but alas—it was private property. One of a kind.

When these two were planning their wedding, they mentioned a Catholic ceremony was necessary because Rob is a teacher in the Catholic school board, but they wanted something more whimsical. We made a few suggestions for adding some personality back into the wedding and the film, and they ended up writing vows that they read to each other in the forest after the first look, surrounded by family and friends. They were filled with barbs and inside jokes, and it was everything we hoped it would be when we suggested it.

We also had the opportunity to put together a Feature Film for them, a new product that’s like a Documentary Film but just the “good” parts, so not the whole ceremony but the vows and rings, not all the speeches but the parts that stood out to us during editing. It’s a great alternative for couples who want to share their day with those who couldn’t be there.
