Dream Team Magic: Our Favourite Wedding Photographers
As wedding videographers, we spend entire wedding days working side-by-side with the photography team. We share the same timeline, dodge the same unpredictable weather, and work together to make sure couples feel completely relaxed while we capture their biggest moments.
When you hire a photographer who is not only brilliantly talented but also a true collaborator, magic happens. The day flows effortlessly, the energy stays high, and both your photos and film turn out incredible.
Over the years, we’ve worked alongside some truly remarkable artist-storytellers. If you’re looking for wedding photographers who will bring artistic vision, warmth, and seamless energy to your wedding day, here are four of our absolute favourites.
1. Wind & Willow Studios
Working with Andrea and Tori of Wind & Willow Studios is always an absolute joy. We first met them at a wedding in 2019 and have been recommending each other ever since. When it comes to the dream team of content creation, you can’t do better. As a creative duo, they bring a perfect blend of playful energy, calm professionalism, and artful composition.
Their style is rooted in authentic storytelling and timeless imagery, with a talent for chasing natural light and catching those beautiful, fleeting in-between moments. On a busy wedding day, having two photographers who operate so seamlessly together makes our job as videographers completely effortless. Plus, their down-to-earth vibes immediately put couples at ease—making every portrait session feel less like a photoshoot and more like a fun hang.
Style: Timeless, artful, warm, and candid.
Why we love working with them: Their collaborative approach to the timeline ensures everyone gets the shots they need without ever making the couple feel rushed.
2. Scarlet O'Neill
Scarlet O'Neill is a true icon in the industry, and for good reason. Her work bridges the gap between high-end editorial elegance and deeply intimate, emotional lifestyle photography. We’ve had the pleasure of working with her a number of times over the last 10 years, and look forward to many more.
When Scarlet is on set, there’s an effortless, elevated atmosphere. She has an incredible eye for light, movement, and human connection, catching quiet nuances and subtle interactions that tell a powerful story. For videography, collaborating with an editorial eye like Scarlet’s is a dream; her framing and sense of composition inspire us to create even richer, visually stunning cinematic moments alongside her.
Style: Editorial, intimate, emotive, and refined.
Why we love working with her: She creates a calm, stylish atmosphere where couples look like they stepped straight out of a magazine while staying entirely present in the moment.
3. Giulia Moltisanti
I worked with Giulia at a backyard elopement during COVID and had an absolute blast. Later that year, she hired both of us to film her own backyard ceremony amid constantly shifting COVID guidelines, which would be stressful for any bride, but Guilia’s cool head keep the day on track.
Giulia describes herself as a "photo ninja," and we can confirm that's spot on! She blends into the background of a wedding day to capture genuine, unposed moments as they naturally unfold. Her focus is always on real connection and raw emotion over stiff, picture-perfect poses. Working next to someone who keeps the mood light, joyful, and completely stress-free makes the entire day a breeze for both the couple and the creative team.
Style: Joyful, candid, warm, and natural.
Why we love working with her: Her lighthearted approach keeps couples laughing, which translates into authentic, joyful footage for both film and photo.
4. Bows & Lavender
Rounding out our list is the incredible husband-and-wife team behind Bows & Lavender, Jessy and Brandon. As a team ourselves, we have a huge soft spot for photo/video synergy, and Jessy and Brandon bring an infectious, adventure-loving energy to every event they shoot.
Their imagery is rich, emotional, and deeply personal. They excel at capturing non-traditional celebrations, intimate moments, and couples who want to do things a little differently. Because they shoot as a pair, they cover every angle of the day with incredible instinct, making it super easy for our camera team to maneuver around them and build cohesive coverage together.
Style: Emotional, authentic, adventurous, and rich in story.
Why we love working with them: Their husband-and-wife dynamic mirrors ours, making teamwork on set completely natural, fluid, and fun!
Finding Your Dream Creative Team
My best advice for choosing your team has been the same for years: if you find a photographer or videographer that you love, ask them who they recommend for the other team. You’ll get a list of suggestions for creatives who love to work together, who have experience collaborating and whose styles compliment one another. Your wedding day is filled with once-in-a-lifetime moments, and choosing a photography and videography team that works seamlessly together is one of the best ways to ensure your day stays smooth, relaxed, and unforgettable.
Whether you're planning an intimate elopement or a grand celebration, we can't recommend these four talented photographers enough.
