A LIFETIME OF LOVE

What a beautiful story these two have! They met as teens at summer camp and have enjoyed all the major milestones as a couple since then, like buying a home and adopting a cat together. Bringing all their favourite people together to celebrate the next step AND reveal a big surprise clearly meant a lot to everyone invited.

The venue | WHISPERING SPRINGS

We first visited this one-of-a-kind venue to shoot Breanne and Cole’s elopement, and we fell in love with the space: the immaculately decorated glamping tents; the gorgeous bar; but mostly the ingenious forest chapel with reclaimed church windows adding an irreverent touch. We were thrilled when Whispering Springs put us on their list of recommended vendors and we got the chance to return for Cecilia and Alex’s wedding.

THE TATTOO ARTIST | STUDIO FLORA TATTOOS

What. A. GREAT. Idea.
Basically, the tattoo artist brings her table, all her gear, and a book of tattoo designs to choose from, and guests add their name to a waiting list. The bride and groom preselected a number of small tattoo options on theme with the wedding, like their nerdy fandoms, Taylor Swift, pets, and their initials. I wasn’t there long enough to see if anyone was brave enough to get that last one, but I did overhear a guest say it was his first tattoo ever. And, no lie, I would have gotten my first tattoo ever also, if only she’d had the one that I’ve wanted for a while (a fine-line wave on my wrist).
