Brittani + Luke | her grandparents backyard, Brantford, ON

I first met Brittani when she interviewed for a position at my day job and mentioned that she was engaged. My boss told her that if she hired me for her wedding, he’d hire her. Of course I told him to stop making things awkward, and told her to ignore him. A year later when their dream wedding in Collingwood was postponed to the spring, they decided they couldn’t wait to be married and hired us to capture their day.

I cannot stress enough how special this wedding was, and it was the vows that did me in. Every word was packed with emotion, inside jokes and gentle jabs. They told their story from the beginning and shared so many details, giving an intimate look at their beautiful life together. I’m seriously thinking of sending a video of these vows to all our couples to tell them “THIS. HERE. This is how it’s done. This is how you tell someone you love them (and help us put a very personal spin on your wedding film!)"
